Is it Friday Yet? I Want to Watch the Avengers Already

I’m serious, guys, I’ve never been excited about a movie like this in a long, long time. All of the actors (except Mark Ruffalo. EDWARD NORTON! I cry for thee not being in this movie) are exceptional(ly good-looking), the plot looks interesting — I mean, it’s not complicated but it looks explosive. And I like explosions. With any luck, the movie will live up to its hype, too, and the initial reviews and feedback seem very positive.

Besides, it’s Tom Hiddleston. Loki. I mean. How can you not look forward to that, huh?

Lazy Friday is Lazy: How Do You Relax?

This week has been a long one filled with late nights and early mornings, and I’m very relieved to spend a day off before studying like crazy for my finals in the coming weeks. Sleeping and doing a whole lot of nothing gives me energy back. By tomorrow I’ll probably have the energy to clean up the house and study and — with luck — write a good amount. I’m not going to slack off this time; I will write more, I will study, and I will do all I need to around the house. It’s going to happen, once I recharge.

Which begs the question: how do you relax and recharge your brain-battery-thing? Is it by relaxing and doing nothing for a day? Gardening? Going for a walk with the spouse?
