Or: I Sincerely Hope You Guys Think This Looks Badass
This image is actually the symbol (only much more elaborate) used by the modified rebels that the main character Lilia joins. One side is a typical-looking DNA strand, but the other side is ripped up and jagged, like an animal clawed it out. It represents how modified feel like they’re only half human, and how their animalistic tendencies make them different.
What do y’all think?
It looks AMAZING, Elisa! Did you do it yourself? I love it.
I hired an artist on deviantART (paid $115 for two covers, and I need to hire them again for the third) to draw it, but I added in the title and changed the colors up a bit in Photoshop. I’m really, really glad you like it!
Ooh, I like it! I can’t wait to read this!
Thanks! I’m really happy you like it.
I love it, Elisa. The cover alone gets me interested!
Thanks Amber! That’s definitely what I was hoping for.
Now I just hope you like the story itself, haha.
Oh, wow. Gorgeous.
I’m happy you think so!
It looks fantastic! Your description of the symbol makes me really excited to read the novel as well!
This is an absolutely gorgeous cover, and I love how the symbol has such important meaning.
Love it Elisa!
Very nice!!
