New short story: Pathos

This is the surprise I mentioned a while ago. Pathos is a 7000 word short story, and it has a bonus alternate ending because I felt that was something fun worth adding in to make that .99 worth it. :)

Pathos

Science fiction, virtual reality

What does it mean to exist? Pathos is a virtual reality where everything is possible, and everybody dies at a pre-appointed time. When Carol loses someone important to her, she begins to asks questions that lead her down a path she might never return from.

Available for .99 on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords

Dominant Race on sale on Amazon for 99 cents for a limited time!

DR cover updated blue and grayThere was a mistake with iTunes back when I put DR on sale for .99 during the holidays, and Amazon has price matched it.

I’m not sure when the price will revert back, so I’ll update this post whenever the ebook isn’t .99 anymore. Don’t worry. :D

If I were you, I’d go ahead and try to pick it up at that price before the problem gets fixed, which shouldn’t take too long.

For those of you who don’t know about my debut novella, here’s the blurb:

Lilia is a genetically altered human – a modified – with special animal instincts and abilities. She is half wolf under the microscope, and it shows.

When Lilia learns about a growing threat against all modified, she leaves home for the first time to join a militia that, like her and her family, survive in the outskirts of the intolerant Greater Cities of the East.

Their enemies? The Eighth General and the ever-expanding devolved, degenerate modified that are mindless killers, blind instinct and rage in human form. When chaos erupts in the First City, Lilia and her allies must choose: help a government in the business of killing their kind, or defend someone in the business of killing everyone else?
